End User Licence Agreement
Last updated: 16 July 2026 · Sold by Hayden Treherne, sole trader, Auckland, New Zealand
1. What you get
When you buy a Blueprint licence, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and activate the App on up to two (2) Macs that you personally use, and all updates to the App within the version 1.x series (for example 1.0 → 1.9). This is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. Future major versions (2.0 and later) may be a separate purchase — we will always say so clearly before you buy anything.
2. What “1.x updates” means precisely
Bug fixes, security patches, and feature updates released under version numbers beginning with “1.” are included at no extra charge for as long as we distribute the 1.x series. We do not promise a specific number of updates, a roadmap, or a support duration beyond what consumer law requires.
3. Activation and devices
The App activates over the internet against our licensing server and can run offline for extended periods once activated. You can deactivate a Mac yourself to free a slot (for example, when you buy a new machine). Fair-use rule: licences are per person, not per pool of machines.
4. What you may not do
Resell, rent, or sublicense the App; share licence keys; circumvent licence enforcement; use the App to break the law; reverse-engineer the App except where law expressly permits it.
5. Your documents are yours
We claim no rights over any document you open, mark up, measure, or export with the App. The App is offline-first: your documents are processed on your Mac and are not uploaded to us.
6. Warranties and consumer law
Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts, or modifies rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or equivalent consumer protection laws in your country that cannot be excluded. If you acquire the App for business purposes, the parties agree the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply to the extent permitted by section 43 of that Act.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under this agreement is capped at the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Practical note: always keep backups of important documents; no software is defect-free.
8. Termination
We may terminate your licence if you materially breach this agreement (for example, key sharing or circumvention). You may stop using the App at any time. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
9. Changes
We may update this EULA for future purchasers. Changes do not remove entitlements you already bought.
10. Governing law
New Zealand law. Courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
